The project involved the construction of the new Gwent Police headquarters facility which can house up to 480 officers and staff, and is home to the control room – the first point of contact for 999 and 101 calls – alongside major crime teams, training functions, support services, and senior management.

The building is a new construction with three levels and a gross internal floor area (GIFA) of circa 5,100m². The development also includes a multi-storey carpark and is provided with mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) engineering systems.

WeBid worked closely with the client, travelling to our clients Bristol and Cardiff offices to gather in-depth information from subject matter experts. Together with our client, we submitted an outstanding tailored submission, which won our client this flagship project.
