As we look forward to the weekend, we would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to one of our exclusive WeBid Consult Ltd. team members.

Today we meet Laura Ford. Laura applies her drive, discipline and attention to detail to understand and support bid strategies, client requirements and build strong compelling responses that are tailored to each commission.

Fun facts: Laura has a keen interest in ballet dancing. As a child, she received a Young Scholarship to the Royal Ballet and has danced in West End competitions. Laura still enjoys this pastime as an adult, and mixes the ballet moves with Pilates and yoga to help her keep fit. Laura is also a passionate foodie who enjoys visiting Michelin-starred fine dining restaurants and savouring the tasting menus crafted by renowned celebrity chefs.

Having enjoyed a successful career spanning 17 years in the financial services industry, Laura was keen to make the seamless transition to a company where she could further apply her skill set: excellent written and verbal communication skills and precise attention to detail.

Now a consultant at WeBid Consult Ltd., Laura follows our winning approach of embedding herself into clients teams, conducting thorough research of tender and works information documents, as well as wider client and government strategies. This allows her to understand why clients are asking specific questions in order to align these drivers with unique selling points and key strengths to develop top scoring submissions.

Laura has experience in PQQ, ITT, CVs and case studies in various sectors, including rail, construction, highways and major civil engineering for both projects and frameworks. She is APM and RoSPA qualified and holds the H&S Training for Managers certification.
